AEDM, linen stuff

helwenWell, it's April now and AEDM is over, but my last post was before the end of the month so...suffice to say, I'm still plunking along. I finished the embroidery on the first mon and made a traceable pattern for the next ones. Actually made a little progress on the kimonos.
Fabrics-store.com has started something called The Studio, and they're having a variety of maker contests: Interior Design, Re-enactment, and Fashion. Entries must be mostly of linen, final submission date is April 15. I don't have anything suitable for entry, but considering changing gears and trying to come up with something. Well, hm, maybe I have a few things... I'll have to think about that. I have made a few linen tops and a hooded sleeveless jacket that I use for gardening and the like... First prize is $500 store credit, which would definitely be handy.
