Thanks. I've parked the whole book in PDF for future reading. My mindset in genealogy and history of locales in the past relates to my ex-husbands family that I was researching. I am making the transition to my own ancestors. More than a few were quite the travelers, with children born in many of the MA counties as well as out-of-state. One, I wonder if he was a tinker.
