Set up some more shelving in the back attic space (room off of the kitchen/dining area), and moved more stuff in there. Since the knee wall is only about 2' high, you can only stand up in the center part of the space -- part of which is taken up by stairs going down to the first floor, and part of which has taller shelving. I do like the modular plastic shelving, I have to say... I have a number of them that are set up as single or double shelves, to better fit under the slope of the ceiling. And technically I could fit more in without the shelving, but I'd like most of what I put in there to be easily accessible. The knee wall area is getting used for less-used items, including some bags/bins of fabric for extra insulation in there. It'll still be chilly in there, but not unbearable.

Today I'll move some boxes that have been sitting in the pantry into the back attic, and free that space up for some food storage... and maybe a sorting/work space.... I have a narrow table that might fit in there... hm...
