Today was full of correspondence, laundry (2 loads), tidying up here and there, tying tomatoes up in the middle of their little teepees of tomato stakes, and some weaving. Listened to A Glint at the Kindling for the first time today. All pretty good, but I definitely prefer the second part, especially the Five Bardic Mysteries. But from the earlier part of the CD I also liked the woodcutter's song.

fitzw helped bring in the laundry. Walked to S&S the long way, and got some cat and people food there. Watched the 2nd Batman movie while doing a bit more weaving. I'm right at the end of the warp, so things got a little funky; I can tweak it to get a few more inches out of it, but need daylight and rested eyes for that.

Tomorrow is July 4, Independence Day. Naturally the flag will be out on the flag pole, proudly displayed.

Our plan for tomorrow is to work on various projects, especially house stuff. I should also tie up some more tomatoes, before they run rampant over the driveway. And hopefully finish up the last of the current warp on the loom... so I can start the next one! Oh, and

fitzw had a brilliant idea -- we're declaring independence from our computers for a day!
