Here are our two cats, who don't like each other...




Shot across the upper backyard. Lavendar that I moved are in the center of the shot, in front of the chain fence. You can see we have a mix of soil types if you look at the trench L dug (he's digging and turning over the sod).


Shot looking up from the lower backyard. The nearest bricks are actually from the upper side of the raised bed -- we're joining this bed with the rest of the soil between the laundry posts. Yes, we'll be using the laundry posts this year, altho' with only two people, we don't need to string up lines across the entire space. The rest of the near wall that's tumbled over is because of frost heaves or something, and will need to be rebuilt, since we still need to terrace between the upper and lower parts of the yard. You can see the newly-moved lavendar to the upper left here, and just below them are the daisies (just coming up), below that will be the echinacea, and below them is a common sage and a germander bush.

The cats are cute... so not liking eachother of course...grin. As for the garden, it looks like you are doign a lot of work but I am sure that it is going be be great when all is finished. so now you have the `before`picture and if you take on from same angle when it is all in flower to show the àfter`shot....
