A quiet day

helwenWoke up very early with a splitting headache and hurting traps, rhombs. Then had to blow my nose and got a nose bleed, sigh. Decided I might as well stay up, take some ibuprofen, etc. Probably a combo of allergies, a bit of a cold this week, and not enough fluids yesterday at the event (even though I had at least 5-6 largish cups of fluid).
Caught up on some email, unloaded things from the car, put in a load of laundry, moved some things to attic or basement as appropriate. Went over receipts to make sure I have everything marked properly for the prizes we gave out yesterday. Did a little front yard cleanup and trimming of one of the bushes. Efa and Eleanore came over in the afternoon and we worked on cutting out a silk dress -- satin charmeuse type, not my favorite to cut, but pretty stuff. Eleanore did a great job distracting the kitties while we were cutting (except when it took two to hold the fabric in place while I cut). Watched fitzw mud the walls in the garage for a little bit. Had Sunday talk with Mom, which went pretty well. Put a second load of laundry in sometime during the day, but forgot to put it into the dryer.... tomorrow. Basement is too far away...
Nice sunny day, glad I got out in the yard for a little bit. Watched Mystery tonight, with Inspector Linley.
Going to bed soon. G'night!
