The quiz creator gave me another page to provide a comment for others to read (somewhere, I don't know where), because of scoring a 10 on one of the items being rated. I don't think of myself as being particularly special in the spiritual realm, but I did my best. Here's what I wrote, for those curious:
I started out Episcopalian (family), but my parents believed we should be accepting of others regardless of the name of their religion. I learned about other religions and came to the conclusion that the most important thing was for people to do good and do their best to be good. Trying is important, sometimes as much as succeeding.
I give thanks every day for all sorts of things, big and small. When thing are looking dark in the world or more personally, I consciously remember some of the good things in my life. It also helps to have a good sense of humor!
I do believe things will work out, even if I'm not sure how it will, or if it was specifically what I was hoping for. Some years ago I took a leap of faith, leaving a good job to spend more time doing artwork. My mantra was "have faith" -- faith that things would work out, that people are basically good, faith in my talents and my ability to adapt. Sometimes I had to say it a lot! Well, I'm not a full-time artist, but my path has crossed a number of interesting people, I went back to school for massage school (full-time, and somehow I would make enough money each month to pay the bills, through various jobs or unlooked for fortune).
By having faith that things will work out, and by being open-minded about opportunities that come your way, you can find your path, even though it may not be what you were expecting!
