Misc. Update

helwenOy. Trying to post more regularly...mostly caught up on folks' posts for the past week. Lots of busy people!
Hm, what did we do? Um, went to S's on Tuesday for temple work/discussion. L drove because my rt. knee's still being cranky. We got massages on Wednesday from a friend who wants some extra experience as he gets used to being a professional massage therapist. That was a good thing! L then did weapons practice; I watched.
Thursday was the bike workshop. Friday L was sick most of the day - digestion. Saturday he was doing well enough that we were able to wash/sort/deliver a bunch of eggs in the morning and dig up plants and move some of the potted plants too. They're still sitting in the back of the truck, but I should be able to get some of the daffodils into the ground today at least.
Sunday was Oakstone Grove's Beltane celebration; simple but nice. Sunny, the peregrine falcon overhead, blackbird doing his thing. Chatted with S, J, and B for a little bit before heading back to Ashfield for the pub sing another friend of ours had organized. Mostly just listened as we didn't know most of the songs, but sang a few choruses and contributed a round (Invisible Fox). L was slowing down again at this point, as his digestion decided to take center stage again :( We tried to go to choir practice but it was not to be.
Today he helped a little bit with clearing ground but the digging really is too hard on a rather tired core. He ended up taking the rest of the day off. Hopefully we can get this sorted out soon.

I think I cut out a red and a green dress on Thursday or Friday. Definitely cut out the temple hat on Friday. Friday saw sewing the red dress (machine parts) -- don't need the dress until June, but the machine was already threaded with red, so... followed that with sewing the hat. Sunday I sewed and hemmed the green dress. Somewhere in all this was various struggles with making a belt -- that battle is ongoing.

Those are the highlights. Throw in lots more with moving stuff and dealing with chickens and I think that's most of the past week.
