Harvest Home - July 27-29

Sorry for the late notice -- trying to schedule things lately has been... interesting.

Harvest Home, hosted at the farm in Ashfield, will be July 27-29.

Intimate, casual event, with at least a few classes planned. I'm working on getting a few more herbs out of the south garden and should have a nice variety of herbs for folks to see this year. There's the possibility of a class on using a scythe too!

Camping is allowed, just contact me to let me know you're coming and send me your tent footprint.

Recycling and trash cans will be available, although naturally we encourage re-usable containers.

Site is free, donations welcome!

If any archery marshals are available that weekend, that would be spiff!

Oh hey, cooking-wise, I have a tripod with hanger and I'm pretty sure I can borrow a fire pit (no ground fires), if you want to do any open hearth cooking. We also have a regular bbq grill and a habachi. Last year we had a gas stove/oven available but not this year (renovations happening in the sugarhouse).

We're planning to pack light, but you & I can talk since the one thing I've missed most this non-event camping season was the cooking :-)

Thinking of bringing the 14.5' round; Jen works so could nap in it and it is also meant for use as a day shelter; the front opens up quite wide. You saw it at Sommer Draw.
