That is so exciting re Sweden and at the same time so depressing re Canada. When we were in Spain we saw so many projects that were 'green' and then we came back to Canada............. where our green momentum seems to have almost come to a halt under the harper government's lead. I know that we could be doing so much more, but big business has such a handle on how things are done and they just don't seem to want to spend the money......... sigh. Maybe with this news, and the fact that Harper has put a new environmental minister into office, we will start forward again.... we can hope

I know, it seems that Europe will surpass both the US and Canada, and they will be in much better shape for peak oil, etc.

It's one of the reasons I've been studying things online and acquiring books on gardening, sustainable living, etc.
