Went out and moved a few things around - decided more of the rovings could go against one of the outside walls for more insulation, freeing up some shelf space for the new yarns we picked up at Webs. Then I started winding the new warp threads for my first project, since we decided the previous thread was too stiff and slick. Winding went very well, twice as fast as the previous times. Might have been even faster except that one of the warping board's posts is rough and I got a number of small slivers from it. Will have to sand it, as the posts shouldn't be catching me or the fibers. So, half of the winding is done!
Taking a break to warm up; thank goodness for the space heater or I couldn't have stayed out as long as I did. The fingerless gloves worked well, but my feet were getting frozen. Think I may switch to boots when I go out again. Meantime, some tea or hot chocolate sounds good, and maybe a brief foray into the attic to look for things to get rid of :)
