Thanks, but those will not do. It must be a very particular type of orange called Blaze or Hunter orange....almost electric neon in color.
JoAnn is having a sale on anti-pill fleece...4 dollars a yard, so I will likely go get some of that. Junk fabric, but I will use Kass' jupon pattern..it will give me some experience with that pattern and be the right color..and keep me warm in the cold.
As I said, horrid to look at but period clothing and satisfying the mundane law too. Some sacrifices will have to be made. Students will see it at NS too...misery loves company after all.
I suspect it would be impossible to get linen that color. I never even see cotton in that color..only synthetics. Some states are not so..anal..about it, but this one is, and big time.
I have modern hunting vest and hat in the proper color..it hurts the eyes first thing, especially in the sun. The vest is at least reversible to cammo.
I knew going in that there would have to be sacrifices...this one is just rather hard on the eyes. LOL Small matter overall. Thanks for trying.
