helwenHm.... last gardening post was May 31....
Today: More lettuces and a hill of watermelons. Too wet to plant, really, so stopped until tomorrow.
Yesterday: Picked up more pea seeds (poor germination, need more). Also gourd seeds. Then store owner wanted to give us regular customers a treat, so we got to bring some extra plants home -- chose lettuces, watermelon, kale.
Also put potted plants into the ground at one end of the main garden plot, still in their pots. Although I did re-pot the hollies and blueberries into larger pots. Hope to put them in their new homes in the fall, but meantime, easier to take care of and won't get blown over.

Progress: turnips, soldier beans, 2 types of corn, snow peas, pole beans, pumpkins, delicata, and some regular peas all coming up. Um, and I think one Hubbard so far.
Tomatoes, kale, mixed lettuces, eggplants, zucchini, butternut, summer, cucumber, ginger, all settling in.

Still to plant: bush beans, beets, gourds, horehound. Maybe some other stuff.
