Fitzw and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary this past Wednesday; after kung fu class we went to the hot tub place in Noho, and it was wonderful! In fact my chiropractor commented the next day that my back was a lot better than usual, so looks like we'll try to fit in a hot tub visit a couple times a month.

The weather has been okay on amount of precipitation this week, but the cold has been awful. I wanted to put in extra time practicing kung fu, but the howling wind wasn't encouraging of going outdoors, even to get to the barn! But we did get out there a couple of times, and I practiced some limited area things in the apartment. Fitzw and I are discussing possibilities for practice space. To really make progress and set the moves in our bodies' memories, we really need to practice more than we're currently able.

Today was the kung fu exam. There were quite a few testing, and the instructors kept us busy and challenged. Fitzw and I got our black stripes for our gold sashes. Yay!

We'd gotten there early to run over some things, and then the test started at 11:30 a.m. and ran until a bit after 2:00 p.m. We are two tired and sore puppies :D Hm..... a nap might be in order.... Yeah, a nap sounds real good... and maybe I'll be a little less sore after that too. That would be nice :D
