Did I mention that we bought some of the cookies from the royal travel fundraiser? We did. Two pounds. We have been good and only eaten a few of them today :) There are some amazingly good bakers in the East, and thank goodness for that!

One definite minus for me was that kass_rants and nq3x didn't make it to the event. I expect the weather was the reason. *sigh*

Hm.... despite being tired, here I am, still up at midnight. Expect I should call it a night shortly...

We did the Miraculous* cookies and the Inconceivable ones... lol with your maple syrup,which worked well at least in the test batch. Whoever it was made the fantastic ones given us in the kitchen is far superior though!

Yeah, it was the weather. We could have made it up there without incident, but the trip home would have been a nightmare. Had we sent the Hounds to stay with the sitter, that wouldn't necessarily have been a problem, but...we didn't.

So I'll sit here and pout at the weather gods.
