Nothing too deep or philosophical so far...

Kind of a lazy day for me.

Some online and book research, and did more printing of Medieval Textile Study Group newsletters (found them last night and started printing them out then). It's a study group connected to Complex Weavers, doing research on medieval textiles (~500 - 1500 ca). I'm not a complex weaver (yet), so can't join the study group. But the newsletters should be quite helpful in getting to that point sometime in the future.

Read people's LJ entries. Commented a little bit.

Started reading some of the...
EDIT: newsletters this afternoon. Checked out some web sites referenced in one or two of them. (I did say I was tired in my "mood" thingy up top...)

We fully-bagged 6 of the hay bales, put 5 against the house on the downhill side (more wind exposure than the uphill side), and one under the back stairs. The framing and walls for the basement back entry is entirely of wood and uninsulated, so usually we insulate the heck out of the inner door to the basement and leave it at that. This year, once we have the rest of them bagged, another couple of bales will keep that single bale company. We can't cover the rest of that corner because the gate to the backyard/studio is there, but we can put some along the back wall of the basement, just over the iris bed (on supports so the iris aren't crushed).

More reading of the newsletters tonight, and maybe do some I Ching. Was planning on one for myself, and my mom would like me to do one for her as well. I'll have to have some tea first, to make sure I'm alert enough to do even one of them.

EDIT: Did a quick coin reading for me. Not sure what I think of it. Did a stick reading for my mom and sent that on to her.
