hotspurre and Sir Tom had a challenge at Yule, to tell the tale of a happening at this past Pennsic.

hotspurre's posted his version in his LJ if you want to read more about it. Sir Tom's will probably show up in a future Berg newsletter. Both were quite good, fun, and creative. Currently I favor

hotspurre's -- I could hear him more clearly and his delivery was excellent, even when there was laughter from the audience. Unfortunately I couldn't hear all of Sir Tom's as well - I suspect partly because he was a little tired from the Boar Hunt (and not as spry in recovery as young

hotspurre, and partly because people were quite amused at some of his turns of phrase. It was a treat to see two different takes on the same event.
