Sewing update and barony stuff

Finished applying trim and lacing rings and did all hemming on overdress. Just needs ironing so I can turn the sleeves up to show the lining (transitional Burgundian). Working on
fitzws robe/tunic next. I'm glad he doesn't mind wearing clothing from a different period than his usual! And we both feel that as landed baron and baroness we should dress the part, so new clothes are the order of the day.
During the interim when I wasn't baroness of Bergental I generally let my wardrobe be more informal, and usually in colors that wouldn't attract too much attention, as I wanted to do whatever I could to direct attention to where it should be, the current baron and baroness. We have a saying in Bergental, "One a baron/ess, always a baron/ess". Those of us who still live here have never stopped serving here. We're all sensitive to the needs of the group, where the focus should be, and in what ways we can be supportive of the whole.
