Harry Mason has a very nice selection of earrings, ear cuffs and wraps, etc. Also some pendants. Discovered him when my brother Kent and my niece Annie and I were down at Fisherman's Wharf. Good quality wares, nice folks. Part of their profits go to helping feed the hungry, too.

***
This is what I got for Annie:
spirals with freshwater pearls

The spirals are fascinating things. They're for people with pierced ears so I can't wear them, but I love the design and aesthetics of them -- almost enough to try piercing again, but not quite... And they're not likely to come off by accident, the way they're designed. The set we got for A can be for fun or dress and will look good for years -- classic.

***
This is what I got in SF (Catalog section, Charming Cuffs):
Silver ear cuff

Ear wraps and cuffs are cool.

***
From the section of the catalog called Marty's Magical Ear Cuffs, here's one for [livejournal.com profile] danabren: Bat ear cuff
And another bat ear cuff

Here's the main page for the Magical ear cuffs which has quite a few amazing creatures, plants, and even the moon and stars: Marty's Magical Ear Cuffs (I like the dolphins, the grapes, and the 'earclimber' designs myself)

***
Most cuffs/wraps are sold singly, some specify if for the right or left ear. These are sold in pairs: paired wraps

I confess I do have a minor weakness for jewelry, although I'm pretty particular about what I wear. I don't want to have stacks of junk hanging around the house, just things that I'll enjoy for years thanks.

Painfully overpriced, but utterly adorable, thanks for thinking of me :) I have one which I purchased for too-much-money at the MD Ren Faire least year(?), the single bat, and naturally a friend of mine had to go and buy the multi-bat version LOL

LOL Yeah, the dolphins are out of my price range, but he sure captured their beauty of motion. sigh..

Thanks for the post. I've been inspired, now I'm going home tonight and make more silver jewellry.

Awesome :) Some of them don't look too difficult, but they do a lovely job, and I don't have the equipment or space for soldering anymore. The one I got is essentially a wire that's been bent in half and then curved a couple of times, with the two halves of the wire having been joined at one of the bends for stability. Plus the zironiums of course. So, a little bit of work but not too much.

I'm picking up a few other pieces since shipping is free this month. Then I'll have to be good for a while, with Pennsic coming up. Although unless something really catches my eye... I've been finding that the longer I'm in the SCA, the few things are of interest to me at the merchants' booths. Maybe some more pottery this year...

Do you post pics when you make things?

Yes, I usually manage to bore my friends with my "new shiney bits" posts. I will definitely post some pics when I finish my new pieces.
