Lyle pouring sap into the smaller tank, which he'll then pump into the larger sap tank on the back of the truck.


Yup, that's me at one of the smaller gathering tanks, with the hose for the pump stuck into it. With 1,500 taps, it's good that most of them feed into pipeline that then goes into sap tanks for easier gathering!
