http://www.castlewales.com/canuhel.html, including Elise's Pillar and some poetry (Canu Heledd). Susan Mayse, who wrote this page, has also written a fictional book called Awen, that I'm thinking I'd like to read.

Apropos of nothing, in French classes when I was a kid we had to have a French name, and one I had for a while was Elise. Another was Claire (waves at a friend), and Heledd is kinda close to Heather, Helwen, Elwynne, and Helen (the last being what my botany teacher insisted on calling me for some reason). The lines from Canu Heledd are quite striking. I think I'd like to read more of it.

And of course there are many pictures of many different castles in Wales, both the English and Welsh ones, best found by going to Castle Wales' main page.

And then there's Castles on the Web. I've posted the page for starting to look at castles in Wales here, but this site has pictures and info for other countries as well.

And one of my favorite places, Tintern Abbey. I think all churches should have lawns indoors, don't you? ;)

Ah, here's a place with gorgeous pictures of Tintern Abbey! And if you go to the site's index, they have great photos of other places as well.

And a valley view through the rose window? I do I do!

Tintern Abbey is one of the most magical places I've ever been. Absolutely gorgeous, even on the foggy gray day that I was there.
