Extraneous bits from the past few weeks. Found my brushes and palettes, also the rest of the bits for working on a sign for MIL. Found the flour container, a whisk, some books that'll be coming in useful this winter, a few more bits of winter clothing, L's tai chi shoes, and other useful bits and bobs.
Moved some things around and/or had them moved for me...
Mended pants (one for me, others for L -- he did all of one patch himself and part of another). His aren't as nice looking, and they're all the left knee -- which tells you which knee he usually kneels down on :D But for working around the farm, they'll do, and should last a while (I hope).
Tried working on finishing the edges of a tent bag today and did make a little progress, but I think it's still too challenging for my right arm -- had to ice for a while afterward.
I'm trying to be good and have patience, but my energy levels are hard to figure out right now and my PT requires me to push myself in order to make progress. So, I guess exercise/crash will be the norm for a while yet.
Navy beans are white. I knew they wouldn't be blue, but I thought they'd be dark-colored. So, figured maybe they were navy food at one point. Research confirms -- staple food of early 20th c. US Navy. Interesting how different foods get names.... I wonder what they were called before then?
