Nothing too exciting...
Nov. 23rd, 2007 06:06 pmWent to PT today. Went all right; bit painful, altho' not steadily so. Just occasionally shoots from 4 to 8/9 (on a 1 to 10 pain scale) without much warning as I go through the movements. Have to do it -- don't want adhesions to form. Bad things happen then... my doc's pretty good, getting me into PT right away.
L did lots of useful things today, like raking and getting down hay for the cows and stuff. I emptied one box of mostly books and some fabric. A little cold (and awkward) for me, to be outside too long, especially as I'm still wearing my coat over the right arm. By next week I'm hoping to put on the coat properly -- and wear the sling over it, of course! Oh, and I put some loose stuff away here and there. And napped.
The snow is mostly gone as a full coating. There are remnants in the woods. More to come, I'm sure...
Have to do my PT three times/day; some bits I can do more often, like lower arm mobility stuff. Turns out I was already doing some of that yesterday -- absolutely awful having my hand trapped like this.
Tomorrow, three days since surgery. Get to change dressing on shoulder from large pad to small bandages. Yay!
