Bikes, house stuff

Also, China has begun putting out rental bikes for Beijing, and will have 50,000 available by the Olympics.

fitzw finished the bathroom floor in the downstairs bathroom last week, and is now working on the upstairs bathroom floor. Old tiles are removed, and he is scraping the old paper-backing and adhesive off. Some wood is indeed damaged around the base of the toilet (old damage), and will need to be replaced, before he installs the new floor.
I removed a little bit of wallpaper in the small bedroom, and then painted one of the walls as an accent wall. We still have a bit of wallpapering to do in order to finish that room, but I have to pack and move things around in there before that happens. Some of the moving/packing may happen today.
Current plan is to pick whatever tomatoes are ready, then pick up the front corner bedroom a bit so that I can do the edge painting for the ceiling. We bought this ceiling paint that goes on pink and then turns white as it dries -- helps you to see if you have complete coverage.
We'll see what happens after that!
