Shoulder update, garden
Jul. 27th, 2007 02:08 pmGot another shot in a different part of the shoulder today. Problem seems to be more inside the joint, he said.... which I guess means the hook isn't the major culprit (although I suspect it isn't helping).
Definitely less painful and easier to move afterward. He said there's an anesthetic with the shot, so it might be painful tomorrow/next day, before the cortisone kicks in fully. We'll see what happens over the next several weeks.
***
Tomatoes are many, but mostly still green (cherry tomatoes started coming ripe a week ago).
Potatoes started flowering last week. I've forgotten how long to wait until it's time to dig them up, but I know I have at least a few weeks before I have to think about it. One of the two late potatoes came up a few days ago, and today I added more soil on top of it and the other plants.
Kale's looking good, and we've had several meals already.
L says the chamomile is 3-4" tall.
The soapwort is blooming, and is all over the place this year.
Tomorrow I'll take out the lettuces in front of the tomatoes, gather some basil to dry, and see how the rest of the garden is doing.
