Missing some kung fu classes - been low energy in some ways lately. Asthma and allergies are kicking my butt this autumn. Happily, have enough energy to do some weaving, and have been getting some things done.
This year has been fierce on people in general, even those without overt allergies are being hammered they say. Can't imagine what allergy afflicted folk go through.
Hang in. Good to get back into other activities too.
Here's a weaving question for you; is it possible to weave cloth that is purely two color checked? That is, without any of the shaded areas commonly seen in checked fabric in the stores. Or is such fabric piece-work? Just curious.
Hm, interesting question -- I'll check through my books, as I don't know offhand. I can tell you right now that in a plain evenweave you'll get the shaded areas; will check other types of weaves.
