So yesterday I mentioned in an email that when [personal profile] fitzw and I someday move to Ashfield, I thought a fish pond would be a good thing to have. Not that I know anything about them, except that rich medieval people had them, and maybe some towns.

Today I had to do laundry for the office, which takes three trips (wash, transfer, pickup), and also a couple of trips for recycling and trash. I also did my yoga stretches today and some crunches. Yay me!

On my last trip to the laundromat I remembered to check for Green Living and sure enough there was a more recent edition than the one I picked up last time I did the office laundry. Also Pennysavers, which I've heard can have useful stuff, so I got one of those too, to look over. They're both free. Anyway, glancing through Green Living, there's an interview with a guy who's written books on ponds. I read part of it, enough to learn that if you're going to have trout and you want water clean enough to swim in, you also need crayfish. Interesting...
