You would think, wouldn't you, that a big professional company like MET LIFE!! would be able to change our address in their database, wouldn't you? I mean, we've submitted the changes at least twice now, possibly three times.

I have just submitted it AGAIN today. By email this time, since talking to them on the phone or mailing in the forms they gave us seem to be insufficient. I have, of course, let them know that they are in error and need to correct their procedures. Politely. For the most part.

Grrrr.

Bank of America changed Axel Sr's birthday. They were so sure they had it right!

...I've been trying to change my address with Smith Barney for well over a year now.

I feel your pain.

Sounds like we're on same schedule :P

Might be coming up with a solution they don't like, pretty soon (possibly changing companies).

*sigh*

*sigh* That's even stranger than our company. I mean, you'd think that since you have a loan with them, they'd want to make sure to have your current address, right? Oy.

My local council has given me a middle name in all the paperwork they have sent me for many years, beginning with M. If anyone has suggestions as to what it might stand for, seeing as they are determined to make it a permanent fixture no matter what I say or do, I would love to hear them. LOL

M probably stands for MiddleInitial... in the U.S. military they use the letter N, which stands for "No middle initial".

But then I suppose it depends on what sorts of paperwork you're getting and what you send back for information ;)

Maybe you should make up a middle name for yourself... then at least the letter will sort of be one of your choosing.
