[1] Who was your FIRST prom date?

Mark Lin, first and only. He was a junior so I asked him. Good friend, we had lots of fun.

No.

Watered red wine.

Proofreader and keypunch card operator at Smith College (starting around age 10-11 with my brother Kent).

1971 Buick LeSabre, bought used in 1985. Got my permit, bought the car, got my license, drove to Pennsic.

Nobody texts me. Ever.

Ms. O'Neil.

[9] Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?

Hawaii (overnight), then Japan (3 days) on the way to Taiwan, in 1967.

Katie Down and no because we were both very young when I moved to MA from CA.

[11] What was your FIRST sport played?

Non-team, bicycling. Team would probably be kickball or maybe dodge ball or Red Rover.

[12] Where was your FIRST sleep over?

I think a bunch of us stayed overnight at my friend Andrew Schamess' house for one of his birthdays, so that would have been sometime in junior high school.

[13] Who was the FIRST person you talked to today?

That would be my sweetie, fitzw again ;)

My friends Viola Fife and Andrew Wardell. Maid of Honor even :D

[15] What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?

Lay in bed thinking about what sorts of things I should be doing today. Then I remembered it was the first of the month so I said "Rabbit, Rabbit!" into L's ear.

[16] What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?

Not sure, but it was probably a classical music orchestra concert in Hong Kong. My dad had season tickets. Sometimes we all went, and a few times I took a couple of friends with me instead of my folks. Likely beat out the high school band concerts although not by much (they were both good, classical and eclectic).

[17] FIRST tattoo or piercing?

Ears pierced sometime during college, but it didn't take. I only do temporary tattoos as I change my mind too often.

[18] FIRST foreign country you went to for vacation?

Canada

[19] What was your FIRST run in with the law?

Speeding ticket on the way to Pennsic. It was my first time going there, and I was following the general flow of traffic to be safe, but everyone was speeding and got pulled over at one of the police farms.

[20] When was your FIRST detention?

That's when you stay after school, right? At our school you might have to stay in detention but not necessarily have it reported to your parents. I hated my homeroom so much that I tended to arrive after homeroom, just in time to go to first period class. But a couple of times I was a minute or two late for first period, so the VP warned me that he'd have to contact my parents if I was late for class again. We apparently had degrees of detention.

California.

[22] Who was the FIRST person to break your heart?

If first lover/serious relationship is meant, that would be my first boyfriend. If in general, I'd say a girl in junior high who I thought was a friend but wasn't. In our family we generally meant what we said and so I expected that of others as well. It took a while, but now I don't expect it of others but do still hope for it.

[23] Who was your FIRST roommate?

No idea. No, really. Back in 6th grade several schools sent kids up to Old Orchard Beach in Maine for a week of learning about the outdoors and other area stuff. We had bunkbeds and there were I think eight of us to a room. I think Celia Chatham might have been one of them but that's as far as I get. It was a very cool time though, even if we did have to write 17 essays about stuff when we got back.

[24] Where did you go on your FIRST limo ride?

Never been in a limo.
