Oct. 28th, 2013 12:23 pmI was thinking just now that it was really nice that my right knee didn't get any stabby pain while we were at Diva's, despite it giving me problems off and on for the past week...hm, guess it's mostly recovered from fall festival and the martial arts workshops. Meantime, I'll keep soaking in the tub, using the thera-roll and doing my exercises.
November 2011 I got an injury that I nursed along until finally in March 2012, after get things checked out with a few doctors, I decided to take time off from kung fu and work on rehabbing things at the basic foundation level (posture, proper way to move, stabilizing structure). I still haven't met my goal of being able to kneel upright on the ground, sitting on my heels; you would think it was an easy goal, but no. Turns out it's kind of complicated. But I will keep working on it. I am closer than I was a year ago, and when I finally get there, watch me fly!
