Massachusetts - Vote Today!
Jan. 19th, 2010 09:17 amThe campaigns have been annoying, but if one can look past the ads to the persons themselves, some truths will be found.
I'm voting for Martha Coakley today. No more perfect than any other human being, but she's genuinely worked hard for us for years and even accomplished some good. I want someone who will actually think, thank you.
As for Brown.... My father was a Republican -- a Real one. He would have been disgusted by Brown (and most of the current Republican Party's officeholders, I'm afraid). Mind, the Dems have their own problems, but it seems like they're at least trying to do something useful.
The vote may be close, especially if people assume that because Massachusetts is Democrat-dominant, that Coakley is a shoo-in. She isn't, and at least in part because in the reporting the unaffiliated voters usually aren't reported on, and there are a _lot_ of unaffiliated voters.
If you live in Massachusetts, take up your right as a citizen, and go out and vote.
