Stuff Happening
Nov. 17th, 2007 12:17 amHm, not doing too well at getting to bed at a decent hour. Have to work on that....
Meantime, did lab work yesterday including an EKG. Doctor checkup today. All good to go for next week. We did discover that the lab didn't do the lipids test on some lab work a few weeks ago, so at some point I have to fast again and go in to get blood taken again.... hm. Probably on one of my PT days, since I'll have to be down there anyway.
Managed to get a spare comforter hung up on one corner of the office, plus rolling up some fabric and laying it in behind a couple of short filing cabinets that are in front of one of the windows. The office has two outside walls - one on the north side and one on the west - so it's one of the colder rooms in the apartment.
Got windy up here today. At one point earlier in the night a huge gust blew over the garden shed. It's one of those plastic ones, very heavy-duty materials but put together by sliding things into slots. Wind caught it just right and separated the walls from the floor and blew the doors off. We have most of it and the shed's contents stored in the minivan for now, and the rest of it is against the east side of the house.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fitzw will have to take a look at it tomorrow in daylight. If it's too windy though, we may just have to find a place for it all in the barn until next year. Interesting evening....
Have managed to get a bunch of boxes unpacked this week. And moved some stuff into the barn too. Not everything has gone according to plan this week, but not bad overall.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving with the in-laws :)
