Late start in the morning, but got up to the farm and retrieved the trees, some branches, and a dozen hay bales for making the forest for the Boar Hunt.

Decided to go with the 3.5 oz. linen. [personal profile] ellid cut out 16 servers' napkins, and hemmed three before the night was out. She took two more home to work on, and 5 are going to D.Moiselle. Una also took two home. I have the remaining 4, of which 1-3/4 are done. [personal profile] fitzw thought he might try doing one tonight, while we're watching Heroes. Yes, for those who've been keeping track, I originally thought we'd be making around 10 napkins. That's because I was dividing the tables by 10, instead of 8, among other things. There's a reason I use Quicken to do my bookkeeping... So, 16 will probably be enough, and if we need a couple more the head table servers can use Lyle's and my personal ones (blue and white).

I cut the lining out for a new dress, and will be getting to work on that and the over tunic for fitzw once I'm done posting this. Pagan and I worked on getting bodice pattern pieces done for her. She now has something fairly accurate to work with and will make copies of the pattern pieces so that I have a set on file. She still has to make a sleeve pattern, but we didn't have time for that before choir practice.

Concentus was hard work, and we may or may not do at least one of the new pieces at Yule. I think we made a lot of progress, but we only have one more practice before the event. I'm also hoping to get in another clothing session with Pagan before then, in which case she and I can work on our part in some of the songs. We're a lot faster on Pucelete than when we started, but I don't know if we're up to tempo yet. People are going to have to take good care of themselves for the next few weeks (including me!), to make sure our voices will do well at Yule. Then it's on to EK 12th Night, if everyone can make it.

Off to sew!

I almost forgot to post a couple of important things!

First, my table loom that I won on eBay came in Saturday. Non-folding Mountain Loom, 8-harness, max weaving width 12". Folding would have been nice, but 8-harness at a decent price, I'll take it.

Second, we're having an open studiolo/print shop day on December 3, 1pm - 5pm. Come see all the spiffy fiber, fiber equipment, type, proofing press, etc.!

If you want/need directions to our place, contact me.

Okay, now _really_ going to sew!
