Painted another coat on the middle of the accent wall in the small bedroom because it looked a little streaky. Looks better now.

Moved/tossed stuff. Put some paint cans back down in the basement. Cut in with a brush all around the ceiling of the front corner bedroom. Couldn't do the rollering of the rest of the ceiling because I used up everything my shoulders had for overhead work, so fitzw had to do that part, while I lay down the painting papers just barely ahead of where he was working.

He's managed to remove more of the stupid paper backing that's glued to the bathroom floor, and fixed the sink so the stopper works and the sink drains quickly.

Called and left message for realtor about listing the house.

Packed a few boxes, and worked a little on creating more work space in the living/dining room. More on that tomorrow.

Am feeling somewhat old and decrepit, although better than when I first got off the ladder from painting the edges of the ceiling and could barely go down the stairs. Possibly more painting tomorrow, but I should also read about canning tomatoes, as we have a lot of tomatoes that need canning.

Ah lass, we all have those old and decrepit feeling days; I know this feeling intimately. LOL *grins*

Btw, as regards scheduling, Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturday mornings are not possible due to Talie's football practice. Otherwise we can probably sort it out.

lady_jade_01 will be over to do tailoring stuff sometime Friday, but that doesn't mean you couldn't come over then. Saturday afternoon would also be great. Thanks!

Don't get me started on the old and decrepit bit - I have had to give up crochet, writing with a normal sized pencil, driving, hiking, dancing, cutting my own toenails, and cutting my own meat.

You can always toss tomatoes in the freezer if you don't have time to can them. If you wash them, and leave the peels on, you don't even need to blanch them. Half-frozen, they are good in salads in the middle of winter. Thawed, you can strain them and make fresh tomato juice, or cook them and make whatever.

Oh, believe me, I know I'm still doing better than a lot of other folks -- altho' I wonder what things will be like 10 years from now.... it's just that there's so much to do on the house (something in nearly every room), and it's become pretty plain that the two of us can't do it all, certainly not in a short period of time. A friend came over and helped a good bit this afternoon, and we'll hopefully have some other people over soon. Meantime, I'll just keep plugging away and taking the painkillers/anti-inflammatories.

Good to know about the tomatoes, thanks! I may do that with some of them, at least to give me breathing space -- they won't all fit in the freezer :D
